Chapter 3 "The Island Fight"

Fortunately, there was a freshwater lake on the island. But just as they had filled up the water bucket, a wild animal came over. The animal looked at them, as if it was about to pounce at any moment. 

The four people drew their short knives from the sheaths beside them. The wild beast seemed to be enraged by their actions and roared, then another wild beast jumped out from the bushes beside it. One of the wild beasts pounced on Ilovin, so Ilovin sidestepped to the side and then used the knife to strike at the wild beast. Immediately, a bright red scratch appeared on the wild beast's body. At this time, the other wild beast wasn't idle either. It pounced on Mike, who was trying to help, and Mike didn't react in time and was thrown to the ground. Charlie saw this and grabbed the knife and slashed at the wild beast. The wild beast was busy dealing with Mike, and there was no time for it to care about Charlie nearby. Charlie made a single stab and then quickly withdrew the knife. Blood sprayed from the wild beast's back, and it died instantly. 

On the other side, while Eva and Ilofin were fighting against another wild beast, Mike used his knife to strike at the beast. However, this beast had thick skin and tough hide. With just one strike, he only managed to cut through the skin of the beast. At this moment, Eva plunged her knife into the beast's abdomen from beneath its body. Not long after, the beast also died in the northwest.
